Used to be Slime - Concept and Direction
Commissioned by CONFLUX for sixteen circus artists and musicians to be performed at Surge as part of the Merchant City Festival, Glasgow, before going on to other festivals in Scotland. A line of uniformly dressed men and women look around. After closely examining the locals and shedding their overcoats, they present six different shows, reflecting human preoccupations and practices, during which they abduct unsuspecting onlookers. Music by Frank Millward, design by Ewan Hunter and costumes by Emily Raemaekers.
