Fifty Years Parade for the Golden Jubilee - Concept and Direction
The parade, produced by Helen Marriage, showed the social, political and cultural life of Great Britain since 1952. Floats, designed by Jonathan Park of Studio Park, with costumes by Katy McPhee, depicting art, science, toys, fashion, food and family life intermingled with transport and other examples of the period were seen by the Queen, her family, an audience of hundreds of thousands in the Mall and millions of TV viewers worldwide.
